In the above photo, MARCOR's director of R&D confers with an industrial hygienist about a water intrusion problem.
A firm commitment to research and development greatly enhances our ability to serve our clients. This heads-up approach enables us to provide the latest equipment, the most efficient methods, and superior value.
Our engineers actually design and build specialized equipment and systems that are not available elsewhere. MARCOR has a number of patents as a result.
Being state-of-the-art is only a state of mind in today's world. As fast as something new is developed, it becomes old. This is especially true in the rapidly growing environmental industry, where we are determined to stay on the cutting edge of technological development. To help us ensure that your project is executed in the safest and most efficient manner possible, we operate a national program that focuses on revolutionary equipment and techniques.
MARCOR's national program is headed by a corporate director and regional managers throughout the country. Each member of the program has extensive field experience, which is vital to their ability to invent, assess, and implement innovations. Not only do they work to develop new equipment, methods, and technology, but they also adapt equipment from other industries to the specialized needs of the environmental field. We offer tomorrow’s technology today—and the most advanced services that technology has to offer.
MARCOR ingenuity results in inventions to serve your needs.
When appropriate, we design innovative, sometimes non-traditional solutions to solve a customer’s unique environmental problem. A few examples follow:
Recovered bullets can be recycled
Rehabilitation of a small arms firing range led to the invention of our Pneumatic Separation Unit (PSU).
MARCOR designed the PSU to separate spent bullets from lighter-weight rocks and debris, thus producing a clarity of lead suitable for recycling and financial gain to the client.
The MARCOR-designed floor tile remover
The MARCOR-designed floor tile remover greatly reduces the risks, time, and manpower needed to remove asbestos floor tile. Our propane-powered machine with just a single operator performs the work equivalent of thirty workers with scrapers - substantially reducing costs and down time for our customers.
In addition, our wood-removal attachment can pull up contaminated wood flooring safely and efficiently
The list goes on
Historic preservation projects involve special concerns. MARCOR has developed or adapted equipment and techniques to handle the demands of these particularly complex and/or delicate jobs. For example, we refined a method for safe removal of lead-based paint from elaborate wooden trim and clapboard walls on a Victorian-era railroad station which was being rehabilitated under extremely strict historic preservation standards. The list of innovations and applications continues....
Other MARCOR-exclusive equipment and methods are available to achieve your environmental goals. We will be happy to discuss custom-designed options. Call for details.
