As a nationally acclaimed leader in the environmental field, we believe we have a responsibility to serve the public as an informational and educational resource.

MARCOR’s experts offer a valuable resource for the public sector as well as for our clients. Our collective knowledge encompasses a broad and diverse range of technical, scientific, and regulatory information.

Seminars and Newsletters

We offer free seminars and symposia featuring environmental experts on a variety of topics, including:

  • "Mold: Health-based Remediation and Construction Defects"
  • "Unlocking the Mysteries of Sick Building Syndrome"
  • "Delving Below the Surface," a program addressing underground storage tank issues

In addition, we publish a quarterly newsletter to help you stay informed of key issues. (Call 800.547.0128 to be added to our mailing list.)

Volunteer Service

MARCOR and its employees donate time and financial support for the public benefit. We adopted a highway on the East Coast and a water park on the West Coast, and we routinely clean both for a better environment. MARCOR hosted the non-profit "Ducky Derby" in Albany, NY. Over 20,000 people attended the Hudson River launch/race of numbered plastic ducks to benefit the disabled. MARCOR captured the ducks with a containment boom several hundred yards down river. First ducks to reach the boom won prizes for matching ticket number holders.

In addition, MARCOR has twice been the title sponsor of a benefit for the National Aquarium in Baltimore’s Atlantic Coral Reef and Open Ocean Exhibits; MARCOR has made major contributions to The Diabetes Foundation; and the American Red Cross; and employees annually donate food and other items to a children’s rehabilitation center.

Recently, MARCOR contributed asbestos abatement services for an "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" project in Philadelphia.
