MARCOR Remediation Receives Chamber's Environmental Achievement Award
Accepted by Johney Robinson of MARCOR's Salisbury Office
4/29/2004–Hunt Valley, MD–MARCOR Remediation, a national environmental contracting company with offices in Salisbury, MD, has been presented with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Environmental Achievement Award. Johney Robinson, business development manager of MARCOR's Salisbury office and an active member of the Chamber's Environmental Affairs Committee, accepted the award at a recent awards ceremony.
When making the presentation, Chamber member Al Knezevich of K&L Microwave, said "MARCOR is the 'go to' company nationally for environmental concerns and the Salisbury office is making the planet safer every day, providing services to such clients as Wicomico Board of Education, DuPont, NRG Power Plants and others in the state. After the September 11 tragedy, MARCOR sent dozens of experienced technicians to the serve on the World Trade Center Forensic Recovery Team," he said.
MARCOR's Robinson is the only environmental contractor representative to serve on the Chamber's Environmental Affairs Committee. Recently, he authored an article on sick building syndrome that appeared in the Chamber's Business Journal. He can be reached at the Salisbury office at 800-247-0369.
