MARCOR Remediation Announces Expansion Into Midwest Market
New Pittsburgh Office to Serve as Base of Operations; New Orleans Office to Handle Hurricanes
11/2/2005–Hunt Valley, MD–Now in its 25th Anniversary year, MARCOR Remediation, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of environmental contracting services, is expanding its reach into the Midwest market, according to David A. Jungers, President and Chief Operating Officer. The first step of this expansion is the opening of a new office in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.
“We have a very strong presence on the East, West, and South. With this new office, we are building our foundation to better serve our Midwest clients,” Jungers said. “We have always served the Midwest region of the country, but we now feel we can greatly improve our service by opening a regional office.”
The initial geographic focus of the Pittsburgh office will be western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. The new office, under the direction of General Manager Jim Bliss, is based in Cranberry Township. It can be reached at 877-742-1115.
Heading up the major expansion into the Midwest is Tony Skenzich, regional manager for MARCOR.
In the South Central region of the country, MARCOR is opening a new office in the New Orleans area. “We established this new office to provide environmental and demolition services to help cleanup and rebuild the region hit hard by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita,” said Jungers. The office is based in Saint Rose, LA, and can be reached at 800-248-0571. Mike Burke of MARCOR will manage the office.
The two new offices mark the opening of the 15th and 16th MARCOR offices. Headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD, MARCOR has a nationwide staff of 700.
