Job Description
MARCOR Remediation, Inc., the nation's first licensed asbestos abatement contractor, today performs a full range of environmental contracting services. These include industrial cleaning, lead hazard abatement, mold remediation, plant/process decommissioning and demolition, soil and groundwater remediation, disaster recovery, gun range remediation, storage tank management, hazadous coatings removal and much more....
Our clients include environmental consultants, government agencies, property management firms, industrial hygienists, the hospitality industry, educational institutions, health care facilities, various commercial and industrial clients and many others. Our offices are staffed with senior technical managers, regulatory compliance experts, business development managers, administrative personnel and an experienced HAZMAT labor force.
Due to our continued growth, we are searching for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with Underground Storage Tank (UST) experience for our Baltimore, MD office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Obtaining a clear understanding of job requirements and customer requests.
- Requires use of equipment and understanding and application of safety and emergency procedures.
- Maintaining good customer relations at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience with heavy equipment operation including experience with excavators, backhoes, and track loaders.
- Experience installing, removing and/or upgrading Underground Storage Tanks (USTs).
- Current Maryland Department of the Environment(MDE)License to Install, Remove and/or Upgrade/Repair USTs helpful but not required.
- Current 40-hour HAZWOPER and/or 8-hr. refresher helpful but not required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Post-offer, pre-employment drug test required.
Compensation/Benefits
Negotiable depending on experience.
