MARCOR Remediation, Inc., the nation's first licensed asbestos abatement contractor, today performs a full range of environmental contracting services. These include industrial cleaning, lead hazard abatement, mold remediation, plant/process decommissioning and demolition, soil and groundwater remediation, disaster recovery, gun range remediation, storage tank management, hazadous coatings removal and much more....
Our clients include environmental consultants, government agencies, property management firms, industrial hygienists, the hospitality industry, educational institutions, health care facilities, various commercial and industrial clients and many others. Our offices are staffed with senior technical managers, regulatory compliance experts, business development managers, administrative personnel and an experienced HAZMAT labor force.
Due to our continued growth, we are searching for an experienced Project Manager/Estimator in our Boston(Wilmington), MA office. The Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for the development, direction and execution of projects to ensure customer satisfaction. Sales traits are required to:
- Oversee and execute full life cycle of bid/ proposal process
- Develop new business utilizing established local contacts and relationship building skills, while maintaining current customer base
- Ability to estimate all size projects
Qualifications
- Three to eight years experience in construction project estimation and management
- B.S. Civil/ Environmental Engineering or Construction Management preferred but not required
- Field/construction experience a must (3 - 6 years) and should include:
- Asbestos, Mold and / or Lead Abatement Project Management (helpful but not required)
- Detailed estimating
- Subcontractor oversight
- Change order negotiation
- Demolition experience, interior strip-outs and structural, preferred.
- General Contracting experience preferred
- Construction Management experience preferred
- Strong written, communication and teamwork capabilities to maintain excellent client and co-worker relationships
- Demonstrative successful business development track record
- Established relationships within the local Boston (Wilmington), MA market
Compensation/Benefits
Negotiable depending on experience.
