MARCOR Remediation, Inc. (MARCOR), a specialty contracting firm with a full range of environmental contracting services, has a current need for an experienced Business Development Manager for its Atlanta area location. If you thrive on identifying potential customers and building the vendor/customer relationship through prospecting and personal sales, you are the type of person we need. From the nation’s first licensed asbestos abatement contractor, we have grown to a national leader in the environmental remediation and large commercial-industrial dismantlement/demolishing & decontamination/de-commissioning (D&D) industry.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Developing list of prospective customers by identifying target markets, target accounts within that market and create a business plan that aggressively pursues target accounts to generate sales opportunities. Telephone prospecting to generate face-face sales appointments is key responsibility.
· Generating request for quotations (RFQ); request for proposals (RFP) within those target accounts and facilitating the sales process to influence/negotiate awards of those RFQ/RFPs.
· Planning, coordinating and participating in local promotional programs, and seminars and trade shows in conjunction with Marketing Department.
· Building long-lasting leverage relationships with customers predicated on superior service and response to customers’ needs.
· Administering and maintaining the ACT Contact Management Sales Tool and providing required reporting such as Daily Sales Activity, Monthly Quote Log, and other reports on sales activity using the database application for quote tracking as required.
· Maintaining active participation in Industry Related Organizations (IROs) for the purpose of networking and industry exposure.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
· 2 or more years of experience in commercial/industrial sales required. Outside sales experience within the service industry desirable.
· 4-year college degree preferable but not necessary.
· Experience in environmental and or industrial, contracting or construction/industrial field desirable.
