New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Projects for Regions 6,7,8, & 9
Since 1988, MARCOR has provided 24-hour emergency response and follow-up site remediation for surface and subsurface petroleum and other chemical spills. Many projects involved cleanup of petroleum-laden soil, water, and vegetation resulting from vehicle accidents on state roadways or inadvertent over-filling of petroleum storage tanks. MARCOR has held an emergency spill response term contract with NYS DEC since 1989. Over the years, NYS DEC has also used this contracting vehicle for other environmental cleanup activities such as well decommissioning; soil vapor extraction installation and O&M; and storage tank management. To date, we have successfully completed well over 50 delivery orders for NYS DEC.
