Background

Forty nylon-spinning machines spin molten matter into fabric. Safety and product quality are paramount. The temperature is so great, three-inch-thick insulation must be used around vessels to contain the heat as the temperature of the pipes must not vary more than two degrees. Because extensive amounts of insulation must be removed frequently (every three to six months), reuse is essential to keep costs down. MARCOR designed reusable, custom insulation pads for the firm's NRD 604 Nylon Manufacturing System.

Job Description
