Case Studies
MARCOR provides a quick and focused response to any environmental emergency. In order to cover your needs, at least two on-call managers serve as off-hour emergency contacts for each of our nationwide facilities. The managers receive and implement emergency delivery orders, or they route the call to the appropriate MARCOR office. The contact person also ensures that qualified personnel, well-maintained equipment, and administrative support are available to deliver the services you need, when you need them. We have already established a strategic communication plan, organizational charts, and contingency plans for any type of environmental emergency. As soon as the plan of action has been determined for your situation, MARCOR mobilizes and completes the job rapidly.
To prevent accidental exposure to the hazardous substance(s) being remediated, we isolate the affected area in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. And, when necessary, we employ a security force to ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed access to the work area. These precautions prevent further spreading of the contamination and limit the liability which can result from it.
Hazardous Waste Management
We offer the full range of waste services to safely dispose of a wide variety of hazardous materials, including used solvents, PCBs, and laboratory chemicals (lab packs). We can provide cost-effective transport for any quantity.
MARCOR is experienced and licensed to transport hazardous materials, whether from emergency response projects or from planned, remedial cleanups. Some of our jobs result in just a drum or two of waste that requires disposal. For others, we have excavated and disposed of thousands of yards of contaminated materials, and have performed the loading, manifesting, decontamination, and off-site shipment services, as well. We carefully pack and label hazardous waste to adhere to regulatory guidelines, and we arrange for its collection and transport, treatment, and recycling or disposal.
